Weekly Volcano Music Issue

Shot the Makeup Monsters for the cover of the music issue for the Weekly Volcano.

When we first met, the shot i had in mind was a strobed shot of them with a scenic shot of Tacoma in the background. Sadly after driving around for 45 mins we found no solid spots. We ended up going to Pho and brain storming a bit and planned on meeting up the coming sunday.

Sunday i brought a White back drop (thank you rick D ) and spent the next hour or so shooting the shots below. Really stoked with what came from the shoot couldnt be much happier!

Seattle Magazine March 2012

Shot some new stuff for the latest issue of Seattle Magazine.

This first set is the guys from Hestia Cellars. Really awesome guys and REALLY good wine (this is coming from someone that does not drink much wine). I drove out to Woodinville about 9 AM and as soon as i walked into their space i noticed the rows of barrels and knew exactly what i was going to do.

All of the shots are lit with my shoot through umbrella and my SB-900 Speedlight with a little help from the Cactus V5's.

This last shot was taken at Chino's on Capitol hill in Seattle. Best part about shooting food is i get to eat it after :) If you are in the area and looking for a bite to eat definitely stop in, it is very worth it.
